How long does verification take?
Standard verification takes 12–18 hours on weekdays. Weekend applications may take up to 36 hours. You will receive an e-mail the moment your dossier is reviewed.
Can I join as a single member?
Yes. SOG welcomes singles — both male and female. The platform has a solo disposition option in your profile.
What happens to my documents if I cancel?
All identity documents are cryptographically erased within 30 days of account closure. You can also request immediate erasure from Account Settings.
Can I pause my subscription?
Not currently — you may cancel and rejoin. Re-joining requires re-verification. Contact hello@sog.gr if you need a temporary exception.
Is SOG available outside Athens?
The Directory is Athens-based but members visiting from other cities are visible. Voyage events take place across Greece — Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, Rhodes.
How do I access SDC through SOG?
Member and Société tiers include SDC cross-linking. Go to Account → Subscription to activate. This gives you discounted access to SDC voyages and events worldwide.
